The conference expenses are all paid for the students by the program sponsors.

Transportation to Indianapolis:
Students must make their own arrangements for travel to Indianapolis.
Where you’ll stay:
You will spend Sunday night at the Westin Indianapolis. The hotel is located at 241 W. Washington Street in downtown Indianapolis. Students will stay in single or double rooms at the hotel. Hotel rooms are provided for students only.

When to arrive on Sunday
Plan to arrive at the Westin at 1:30 pm (EST) on Sunday. The conference registration desk will be located near the hotel's registration desk. Registration will start at 1:30 pm. and at 2:30 p.m. there will be a Welcome Orientation for the parents and students, which will provide parents with a brief overview of the program.

When you’re finished on Monday
The symposium will end at 4:30 p.m (EST) Monday and students will be ready for pickup at Westin hotel. Please make sure to arrange by 5 pm (EST) pick up for your students. You will not need to park, just pull up to the pull into the hotel front entrance and the students will be in the lobby.

Students will be supervised throughout the two-day event by Indiana University faculty and staff members, and high school teachers.

What to wear
Wear comfortable shoes and clothing. This is a casual event and nice jeans are acceptable. (Note: open-toed shoes, such as sandals, are not allowed in the laboratories.)

About lab supplies
Everything will be supplied to you at the conference – we will supply the lab coat, goggles and any other materials needed for the labs.

About food
The conference includes dinner on Sunday and breakfast and lunch on Monday. We’ll also provide snacks and drinks on Sunday and Monday. Vegetarian meals will be available.

About money
You won’t need to bring a lot of money. Your stay in the hotel, parking at the hotel, meals, snacks and drinks will be provided free to you on Sunday and Monday.

About parking
Plenty of parking is available at the hotel. We will cover the parking costs on Sunday, only if valet parking is used. Parking validation information will be available at the conference registration desk. Again we will not cover parking on Monday for pick up.
